So last night Caleb and I weren't feeling up to going out on our usual date night, so we decided to stay in and rent some movies. We piled our blankets and pillows on the floor in front of the TV so that Kenley could play with her toys and we wouldnt have to jump up every 5 minutes to get her. Half way through the movie we decided to break open a bag of Kit Kat bars(Our Fav!). After opening a few candy bars, we decided that milk was a must with our treats. We both walked into the kitchen (8 feet away from our front room) poured our glasses of milk and returned to our pillows and blankets to find that our sneaky little Kenley had ever so quietly rolled over to our spot and had grabbed our KitKat bars and had started eating away. We both just kind of looked at each other and busted up laughing. We couldnt help but snap a few pictures of our adorable messy girl!

Picture time!
Slackin' again!
Once again I'm falling behind on whats been going on in our lives. Life just gets busy and who wants to spend time blogging. :) We have been just enjoying Colorado and the nice weather. We have also been busy with Calebs Dr. Appts and his journey in getting out of the Army. Caleb is scheduled for several X-Rays and MRIs this next week and we are hoping to get some answers about Calebs TBI (traumatic brain injury), knees and his hearing. Once we get the results back we will be headed for his medical discharge.
Kenley has been her usual crazy cute little self. She still refuses to crawl, but can roll across the floor like a little champ. She is very interested in trying to walk. She loves standingand attempts to let go of the tv stand, or bed as long as mom or dad is right there with her. Its so fun to watch her grow and develop her own indenpendence. Thats about it for our little family!

Renaissance Festival!!
For the past 2 and 1/2 months we have had the renaissance festival out here in CO. Caleb and I decided that for a family outing we would hit up the festival and see what they had to offer. We spent last weekend their and this weekend as well. We enjoyed getting into and seeing all the costumes, and all the characters. We enjoyed watching the jousting, the hypnotisit, and all the individual acts. We also enjoyed getting into the "Renaissance" Mood with all the yummy food they had to offer! We had such a fun time. Kenley loved the fairies and the elephant rides and all the colors. :)
2-12 Infantry Ball
This past Thursday we attended Calebs Military Ball. This year it was held in the Antler(Hilton) Hotel. The Army had reserved their ballroom and had it decorated very tastefully. We enjoyed our dinner of beef, green beens, potatos and dessert of strawberry cheesecake. We enjoyed our night out but couldnt wait to get back to kenley. They had provided daycare for the evening and we rushed back to her. When we got to the daycare center the ladies just kind of laughed about the fact that we were the first ones to pick up our child. Kenley did very well being away from us (first time ever being left with someone not related, or a family friend). We learned that she got in a kicking war with another baby a month younger and was pretty determinded to win... :) The ladies kept commenting on how lovable and cuddly she was.
We have been really questioning if Caleb getting out was the best thing for us financially and family wise. Overall we had a great night out together, but we had our questions answered that the lifestyle of the army really isnt for us.
