Finally!

Kenley finally said 'mama'! Caleb and I will both say either 'mama' or 'dada' and see who she will repeat. :) Can't believe how fast shes growing up!

Lions, Tigers and Bears....Oh My!!!

We had a wonderful time at the zoo today!
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is set up against the mountains and is a perfect location for an overlook of Colorado Springs. Caleb, Kenley and I had a great time wandering around, looking at all the animals. Caleb and I got a kick out of seeing Kenley expression as she experienced each new animal. We stopped in to the Grizzly Grill for lunch and enjoyed some yummy quesadillas! Kenleys favorite animal of all? The chipmunks who wandered all over the zoo!

Here are few (okay a lot!) of pics of our adventure for the day! Enjoy!

Kenley with Pluffkin the Penguin and Rhino the Elephant(Dont ask. Caleb named them :)) all tired out from a day at the zoo!

Bubbles, Bubbles, Everywhere!

Kenley LOVES bathtime!
If i let her she would splash all day in the tub. She is quite the daring/curious little girl and is constantly trying to stick her whole head under the water. Caleb and I joke that she's gonna be a swimmer. :)

Well her new love is having bubbles in her bath. For my birthday a couple weeks ago, my friend Kim gave me a basket full of bathtime goodies, including bubble bath. Caleb decided to add some bubbles to Kenleys bath and She loved it! She loves trying to eat the bubbles and playing with them. She will try and pass the bubbles from one hand to the other. Its quite entertaining! :) Here are a few pictures of our little bath-time baby!

Been a while!

Its been a while since I've updated! We've been busy with Block leave! We were able to go home for about 2 1/2 weeks and enjoyed spending time with our families. My parents were wonderful in letting us stay with them! Thanks Mom and Dad!

We had a lot of fun with family and friends and enjoyed going back to Disneyland and the Beach!

Last April when Caleb and I went to Disneyland for a belated honeymoon, we vowed that if Caleb came hom from Afghanistan we would go back to Disneyland to celebrate him coming home. Funny how life happens and we were not only able to celebrate Caleb coming home, but we were able to celebrate it with our daughter.

We had a blast seeing all the characters, the parades, fireworks and going on a few rides! We cant wait to head back when Kenley gets back and can ride more of the rides. We were able to take her on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and the Safari ride. She enjoyed pirates and kept looking around at everything. She didnt do so well on Haunted Mansion. Caleb thoguht it would be funny to make scary noises that of course led Kenley to crying throughout the ride.

Here are a few pictures of our fun filled trip!!
